i dont care who wins as long as it isnt him @_X
well i do care... yea as long as they are uh sane =P
Don't trust the polls.
They don't count people who have not voted in the past.
Do you know how many people became legal voters this year? A lot. Those people weren't counted.
They only counted people who voted last election and they could not have counted all of them.
The following is from the
Michael Moore newsletter:
<font size="2" face="Verdana,sans-serif">Don't worry, we may have a chance yet.Second, they are not polling people who use their cell phone as their primary phone. Again, that means they are not talking to young people. Finally, most of the polls are weighted with too many Republicans, as pollster John Zogby revealed last week. You are being snookered if you believe any of these polls."

Polls are usually slightly manipulated. Because they are a sample of the population, it's all about who they sample and where do they live. Like N said, if they are phone-based, and they exclude cell phones, they are excluding young people, and Japanese immigrants.
My experience is this:
● 99% of TVs or agencies are with some party, and if you have an official institute of statitstics, it's oviously with the government
● The polls they make up to half a week before the election tend to raise their party's a bit
● The polls they make the day before and right after elections are closed, though, tend to lower their party's a bit. This is done for the "hero" effect: it gives a much better impression that it was thought somebody would get X then it gets X+n, rather than X-n. It looks like it wins in the last moment, against all forecasts.
● Some people are ashamed to admit they are going to vote stupid. In Spain, the socialist party usually gets more than any polls say, even theirs. Who's gonna publicly admit they will vote for a moron knowing it? So careful with Bush.
● If you want fairer polls, pick a moderate media from each party and average their polls
● And sadly, you don't know how easily can islam fuck your elections. In Spain, the right-wing party was forecasted the easiest victory in history; muslims muslimed, and the left-wing shit won, and the country may go down the flush. I hope nothing happens in the USA, because you have a close situation to Spain's: the country's economy, image, etc. can be somewhat saved by Kerry, but if muslims do their shit right before the election, they may make Bush win again.
